Clients who dig my work.

I have done four recordings with Matt over the last 8 years. Each one has been a great experience and Matt has always been very prepared, professional, patient and helpful. Matt is good at dealing with different personalities and really knows his equipment so he can work fast and efficiently. You can hear his work with us here:
I highly recommend his services!

Matt was great! He had a quick turn around and was very responsive. He's very reasonably priced and the end product sounded great. He sent me my files and I had one slight change which is made quickly and sent back with no additional charge. I would definitely recommend him!

Matt Boudreau is a master mixing engineer of legendary cred. He helped me realize my dream of having an album that kicks butt. Very easy to work with, attentive, and super cool. I hope to work with him again in the future.

Matt has been a go to producer/engineer/drummer in the Bay Area for years for a reason .... he’s f—ing good. I can attest to his talent over many years from personal experience and many sessions.
Keep on keeping on !

The Welcome Matt

I've worked with Matt on several different projects and the reason I kept going back is because of the atmosphere he creates! He is so fun in the room, he has killer insight/thoughts/feedback, he really allows the band/artist to play around and take their time creating something, and I've always been thrilled with the final product! Not to mention, get him behind the drums because the man slays on the kit.

Drew Gasparini

Matt is without a doubt one of the best sound engineers and producers around. His attention to detail, incredible knowledge, and creative inputs are really special. When we put out our first EP produced by Matt, people thought it was a major label release with a massive budget cause it sounded so good.

Matt has helped me make recordings of the highest possible quality for over a decade. His standards are high and the work benefits as a result. I will always be grateful for the work we have done together.

My story

I have been involved in music and audio for 35 years. I started out as a drummer working my way through bands and six-figure record deals. I was lucky in that I saw first hand how records were made on a high level with producer/engineers Larry Hirsch (Los Lobos, John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt), Joe Chicarelli (Frank Zappa, Tori Amos, American Music Club, White Stripes) and Gil Norton (Echo and the Bunnymen, Foo Fighters, Counting Crows). These guys got me excited about the record-making process.

In 1994 I began my journey to the “other side of the glass”; trading drum sticks for faders. That journey has taken me through a series of amazing recording experiences with many well-known artists as well as many lesser-known artists. I’ve never looked back since.
